Let me begin by saying THANK YOU for your continued support of this great organization.  This past year has been a roller coaster ride from the beginning.  We didn’t know what to expect with the economy but our chapters, members and volunteers all came through once again.  You hosted: 60 banquets in 2009; held 16 Jakes events; 9 Wheelin Sportsman events; 4 Women in the Outdoors events; gave 16 local scholarships and 1 state level scholarship; as well as 7 chapters participated in the Turkey Hunters Care program.  Without great people like you, this would not have happened.  I am extremely proud of our accomplishments and you should be too.

I think everyone will agree 2010 will be another challenging year; however the new Board of Directors and Officers are already making plans for a great year.  You’ll be hearing more about that from your new President, Perry Bryant.

In closing, I want you to know I have enjoyed the last two years as your president.  I have met many of you and truly believe Turkey Federation members are the best.  I wish you and your families a great Holiday season and best wishes for the coming year.
